House keys: copy, rekey, or replace

If you still have a working key, a copy is quick. If a key was lost or stolen, rekeying the cylinder makes the old key useless while keeping your existing lock. Replacement only makes sense when the hardware is worn, damaged, or you want an upgrade.

02

Car keys and fobs

Most modern vehicles in the GTA use transponder keys, remote-head keys, or proximity fobs. A mobile locksmith can usually cut and program a replacement on site. Have your vehicle year, make, model, and proof of ownership ready.

03

Business and high-security keys

Restricted keyways and master key systems control who can duplicate keys. Replacement keys for these systems are cut against authorization records so access stays controlled across your property.

How to save time on the call

Send a photo of the lock or key, your exact address, and how many keys you need. That lets dispatch confirm the right blanks and equipment before the technician arrives.
